Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with Chocut. This Shipping Policy explains where we ship, how orders are processed, the shipping charges that apply, and the estimated delivery times for purchases made through chocut.shop.
This policy currently applies to orders delivered within the United States.
1. Shipping Destination
Chocut currently ships to valid residential and commercial addresses within the United States.
Orders are prepared and dispatched from our fulfillment location in China through professional international logistics partners.
At this time, we do not offer delivery to countries or regions that are not available during checkout.
2. Order Processing Time
Orders are normally processed within 1–2 business days after payment has been successfully confirmed.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
Order processing includes:
- Payment verification
- Product preparation
- Order inspection
- Packing
- Shipment handover to the logistics provider
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will normally begin processing on the next business day.
During periods of unusually high order volume, processing may take slightly longer. If a significant delay affects your order, we will contact you using the email address provided at checkout.
3. Shipping Time
After an order has been processed and dispatched, the estimated transit time is:

The estimated total delivery time, including order processing, is approximately:

Delivery estimates begin after payment confirmation and are calculated using business days.
Shipping times are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Actual delivery time may be affected by the destination, customs processing, carrier operations, weather, public holidays, peak shopping periods, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
4. Shipping Rates
The following standard shipping charges apply to eligible United States orders:

The free-shipping threshold is calculated using the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before any applicable taxes.
Shipping charges will be clearly displayed during checkout before the customer completes payment.
Google supports a free-shipping threshold where orders at or above a specified value receive free shipping and orders below that threshold use the standard shipping rate. The threshold currency should match the product currency.
5. Shipping Method
Orders are shipped using standard tracked international delivery services selected according to the destination, package characteristics, and available logistics routes.
The specific carrier may vary by order and may include an international shipping partner and a local last-mile delivery provider.
Customers cannot always select a specific carrier during checkout.
We do not currently advertise guaranteed expedited, overnight, or same-day delivery unless such an option is expressly shown during checkout.
6. Order Tracking
When the order has been dispatched and tracking information becomes available, a shipping confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.
The email may include:
- The tracking number
- The carrier or logistics provider
- A tracking link
- The shipment status
Tracking information may require approximately 2–5 business days after dispatch to begin showing movement, particularly while a package is being transferred between international logistics partners.
A temporary lack of tracking updates does not necessarily mean that the package has stopped moving.
7. Customs and Import Processing
Orders are shipped from China to customers in the United States.
Customs procedures may apply during international transportation. Normal customs processing is included within the estimated delivery process, but customs inspections or regulatory reviews may occasionally cause delays.
Where additional import duties, taxes, or government charges apply, their treatment will be disclosed during checkout or handled according to the applicable shipping arrangement.
Customers will not be asked to pay undisclosed additional shipping charges imposed by Chocut after completing checkout.
8. Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
Please carefully verify:
- Recipient name
- Street address
- Apartment, suite, or unit number
- City
- State
- ZIP code
- Telephone number
- Email address
If you notice an address error, contact us as soon as possible at info@chocut.shop.
We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered processing or has been dispatched.
Chocut is not responsible for delivery failure caused by an incomplete or inaccurate address supplied by the customer.
9. Order Changes and Cancellations
Order changes or cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible after purchase.

We will make a reasonable effort to assist, but an order cannot be changed or canceled once it has been processed, packed, or transferred to the carrier.
If the order has already shipped, the customer may request a return after delivery in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.
10. Delivery Delays
Delivery may occasionally be delayed by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
- Customs inspections
- Severe weather
- Public holidays
- Carrier congestion
- Transportation disruptions
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery information
- Remote destination limitations
- Force majeure events
If an order has not arrived within the expected delivery period, please contact us with your order number.
We will review the available tracking information and contact the logistics provider when appropriate.
A package is not considered lost solely because tracking information has not updated for a short period.
11. Lost Packages
If the carrier confirms that a package has been lost in transit, Chocut will review the order and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include:
- A replacement shipment
- A refund to the original payment method
- Another solution agreed upon with the customer
Customers may be required to cooperate with a carrier investigation and provide requested information.
12. Packages Marked as Delivered
If tracking shows that an order has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check:
- The mailbox
- Front porch or entrance
- Reception or mailroom
- Other safe delivery locations
- Other members of the household
- Neighbors where appropriate
- The local delivery carrier

We will assist with reviewing the delivery information and, where appropriate, request an investigation from the carrier.
13. Refused and Undeliverable Packages
If a package is refused, unclaimed, or returned because of an incorrect address or failure to collect the package, it may be returned to the applicable logistics facility.
After the returned package is received and inspected, any eligible refund will be handled according to our Return and Refund Policy.
Actual shipping charges, return-to-sender fees, or carrier fees may be deducted from the refund when the failed delivery was caused by:
- An incorrect customer-provided address
- Refusal of delivery
- Failure to collect the package
- Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts caused by the recipient
No such deduction will be made when the failed delivery was caused by an error made by Chocut.
14. Split Shipments
Orders containing multiple products may occasionally be shipped in separate packages.
If this occurs:
- The customer will not be charged additional shipping fees
- Each package may have a different tracking number
- Packages may arrive on different dates
The original shipping charge shown at checkout will remain unchanged.
15. Preorders and Backordered Products
If a product is offered as a preorder or has an extended processing period, the applicable expected dispatch date will be clearly stated on the product page before purchase.
Preorder delivery estimates may differ from the standard processing and transit times stated in this policy.
